Thank you so much for the CD – the quality sounds very good to me. My grandma died in the 80s, my mother in 1987 and my father in 2013 after a long battle with dementia, so it’s wonderful to hear them all again. The sound of my father, completely compos mentis, speaking in his best Spanish accent at the beginning was certainly a surprise as I’d never ventured to listen to the tape before because I was afraid to harm it, but it was wonderful to hear my mother’s voice after nearly 30 years. My sister will be over the moon (after the tears, of course) and there are other relatives who’ll be very happy to get a copy.
