Dear Graham,

Gabrieli package came today - great result, many thanks. Sounds as good as it could possibly be in the circumstances, and looks terrific. So well done for all the skill and care you obviously put into this, and keep up the good work.

Best regards,

S. Midgley

 Dear Graham,

Thank you for the work you have done in cleaning the vinyl, shellac and lacquer discs held by the Essex Sound and Video archive. I was very pleased with the results you achieved. Also, I was impressed by the care and attention to detail you gave to each disc. I hope we will be able to work together again in the future.

Martin Astell, Sound Archivist, Essex Record Office

Sorry not to have written before, but I would like to thank you for your cooperation in achieving my last two CDs.

 Dear Mr. Joiner,

I was very pleased with the records you restored, and would be grateful if you would restore and record on CD the four enclosed records.

Many thanks,

Yours sincerely,

 Dear Graham,

Thanks for the two CDs and original cassette. I am very pleased with the transfer - the CD sounds fine and the inlays you prepared were beautifully done. I am planning to send you four LPs in a few days for transfer to CD.

Best wishes,

H. Sowerby, Derbyshire

 Graham,

Thank you for the disc. Excellent quality, very quick return and beautifully presented.

Dear Graham,

I really am amazed at the professional job you have done to my LP. My Dad should be really happy! Thanks for delivering it back - that was very kind of you, and I shall be happy to recommend you to family and friends.

Thanks again

Hi Graham,

I just wanted to say I've now received my CD in the post and am absolutely delighted with it. The quality and packaging is first rate.

Many thanks for doing it, and I feel sure that you might be getting some repeat business from me in the new year!

Thanks again

Graham

I have just taken delivery of your transfer of my LP to CD and I am extremely impressed.  The sound quality is excellent - I expected that.  What I was not prepared for was the exceptionally high quality of the produced item - the CD itself, the label etc.  As the CD is a rather special gift I am delighted with the production values of the item, and consider it to be excellent value for money.

J. Flowers, Harpenden.

Dear Graham,

Many thanks for a superb CD, received today. Reproduction is excellent - also presentation. The amount of work you have to put into the transfer of the tape doesn't bear thinking about. Many thanks for your help.

K. Claxton, London.

Dear Mr Joiner,

Cheque enclosed. Many thanks for the excellent service.

D. Hughes, Llandudno, Conwy.

Dear Graham,

Many thanks for the CD - it sounds great  and the artwork was an unexpected bonus - all carried out to the highest standard. I will certainly send you more minidiscs and be recommending you to my friends.

 J. Lambert, Twickenham.

 Dear Graham,

Thank you so much for all the help re: the reel tape, and the final copy will be an interesting start to the history of Pettaugh from 1960 to date. Also, thanks for the very efficient family delivery service - greatly appreciated.

Kind regards to you and the family,

Yours sincerely,

 Mrs R. Denyer, Suffolk.

Dear Graham,

Thankyou very much for the acetate to CD conversion. The piano sound is much better now. The original pieces using a Steinway (once Rachmaninoff's) were recorded onto 78s long before his death in 1943. Subsequently, these 78s were compiled onto the acetate which you have transferred. The 78s were lost by the company that made the acetate. With such a lot of erratic changes I think you have done very well to get the result you did. They are good enough to allow one to forget the reproduction and imagine the original and I'm sure that is a considerable achievement. Thankyou very much.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs V. Hodges, Gloucestershire.

 Dear Graham,

I am so delighted with your skill in transferring the 70 year-old aluminium 'message' disc onto two modern CDs; also in your presentation and speed of return. All arrived in perfect order today. Best marks to you. It really is nostalgic to hear voices from the past. Soon I shall call in at the classical music shop in Glasgow to update the chap there, and leave your business card, with a request he leaves it on his counter!

Many thanks indeed,

M. B., Helensburgh, Scotland.

Thanks Graham,

I picked the CDs up yesterday from the post office - they look great! Thanks for doing them - I will do my best to promote your fast, efficient service!

Mark Longley, Thirsk, North Yorkshire.

 Dear Graham,

Thankyou very much for your prompt service, I do appreciate it very much, as I now have the CDs to bring home with me.

God bless, and thanks,

Sr. P., Convent of Mercy, Wanstead.

 Hi Graham,

Just to say many thanks again for doing the CD - it came out great!

Colin Elliot, St. Albans, Herts.

 Hi Graham,

The CD transfer of my NAB studio carts arrived safely - thank you so much for
a beautiful job.

Dear Graham,

Just to thank you for your help in improving the sound of my late 1920's shellac record -- I know it can't have been easy considering the somewhat dire condition of the source material! I was very happy to hear what you were able to get out of it.
I know I've got a few shellac discs in the stack that will need some more heavy-duty work and so you will likely hear from me again before too long.

Thanks again,

Mark, Port Moody, Canada

Dear Graham

I am pleased to say that you have again done a really first class job. I played the Schoenberg violin concerto first and your timing was immaculate, the encore dovetails into the proceedings so well. I really do appreciate the care you exercised. Life is a lot more enjoyable when music smooths away some of life's anxieties.

Thanks again,

 PWD, Brentwood, Essex

Hi Graham

Thanks for doing my album so quickly - I was well impressed. It looks really professional and sounds good for such an old, well played bit of vinyl.

 Kind Regards

 Alex Smoleskis, Essex

Hi Graham,

Just a quick note to thank you very much for the excellent service, I'm amazed at the CDs, they're just great!

 Best Wishes

Phil Middleton, Herts

Dear Graham,

Many thanks - first class! I could not have wished for anything different - or better. I played the Seefried first - it was so good, I played it three times straight off in its entirety - three hours of glorious singing! Both recordings mean so much to me. I appreciate your work and I enjoy them all the more now know they are 'safely' on CD.

PWD, Brentwood, Essex

"The service provided by Audio Restored was first class.  The quality of the recordings was better than I'd hoped, and a lot better than my amateur attempts.  Having digital recordings of family memories provides a permanent legacy for future generations to enjoy."

J Manley, Herts

Dear Graham,

I was absolutely delighted with the quality of the recordings of my rather old vinyl favourites from the past. They sound fantastic and just as good quality as when they were new! However, I was especially pleased that you were able to digitise my Uncle's poem that he recorded on an acetate disc at 78rpm whilst on service in the Army in June 1950.

I was able to email an MP3 version to all the family members, including my uncle who plans to use it as a "novelty" after dinner parties. As he has lived in Africa since the 1960's this has brought him back some very special memories. It has been sitting in a record box since I last played it probably in the early 1970's!!

Thanks again for the excellent quality of service and the chance for us all to relive those golden memories from the past. I will definitely be using this service again as I have a large vinyl collection and neither the time, skill nor equipment to clean and digitise my cherished vinyl favourites to the level that Audio Restored can do! Thanks again.

Clive Smith, Hertford.

Dear Graham

I found Audio Restored to be an exceptionally professional and helpful company to deal with and who produced a top (enhanced) quality copy of an vinyl LP onto CD.

Dr S. Moss, Cambridge

Many thanks Graham for the excellent quality copy of the cassette onto CD.  The CD copy has allowed my partner and her children to relive memories of their father / grandfather telling Nursery Rhymes to my partner, when she was just 4 years old!  Sadly, my partner's father passed away in 2008 and your CD copy has allowed fond memories of my partner's childhood to be preserved forever.  Many thanks.

Dr. J. Tierney, Bishop's Stortford.

 Hi Graham,

Many thanks for the prompt return of the reel to reel tapes and CDs which arrived safely today. We are very pleased with the quality of sound produced via your transfer. It has been good to reminisce and recognise family voices from over 30 years ago, which would otherwise have been lost.
Kind regards,

Hugh Robinson, Southampton
